Anglican Church Women St John's Anglican Church Women (ACW) is part of a diocesan-wide organization.
We do outreach by sending help in the form of baby layettes, sweaters, toques mittens, etc. to poor parishes in the Disocese of Caledonia. This helps them with warm clothes. In some of the very poor parishes, the local ACW or other parishioners sell the items to raise money to help towards expences. We also contribute what money we can to our own diocese (the Dioceses of British Columbia) for the apportionment. In 2008 we contributed $10.000. This money goes to World Mission and the North.
We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 2pm in the Denson Lounge.
